What are endocannabinoids?

Endocannabinoids are proteins and neurotransmitters that attach to the bodies cannabinoid receptors and are very very important! They are essential for human growth and development. They help with appetite, mood, sleep, brain function, and more! Endocannabinoids are human versions of the plant cannabinoid (Phytocannabinoid). They are found in breast milk, which makes it no surprise as to why they are so beneficial to infants!

Phytocannabinoids are plant proteins that also work with the receptors. Phytocannabinoids can be found in cannabis and a variety of other plants.
